From individual to institutional

Change that travels.

Our impact starts with one woman feeling seen: a badge that makes her pregnancy visible, a seat offered on a crowded bus, a health worker who takes time to listen.

It grows into community behaviour, when drivers, neighbours, youth groups and families learn how to care. It becomes institutional practice, when health posts and local governments build mother-friendly features into their services. And it reaches systems and policy, when supportive environments are no longer a favour but a standard.

A mother-friendly space

One station, many mothers.

With Ward 19 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, we supported a breastfeeding and diaper-changing station: a small, practical space that lets mothers feed and care for their babies with privacy and dignity while going about everyday life.

It is one space. It is also a model, and we want to see it replicated in offices, transport hubs, markets and public buildings across Nepal.

Partner with us on a space

A mother-friendly Nepal needs all of us.

Support, partner, volunteer or simply speak up. Every action helps make pregnancy a safer, more dignified experience.
